Halifax Regional Police have secured an area of Gaston Road after a man with a firearm threatened civilians.
Officers were dispatched to the scene around 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, October 21st, following reports that a man with a gun was endangering others. Police have not yet released any information about the suspect or their current location.
The area has been cordoned off and residents are being advised to stay indoors. Officers are currently conducting a search for the suspect and investigating the incident.
